Band Spotlight: Floralorix

Band Spotlight is where we will weekly feature a band that you might not have heard of, or if you have, remind you how tight they are.

After the rain put a block on the vibes at this years Irie Vibes Music Festival, with the help of Dub Cellar Records and different bands, the show got to go on the late night stage. We are glad it did because we got to have our first Floralorix experience.

We were excited to see that they will be on the bill for Sycamore Brewing Company (Charlotte, NC) one year anniversary along site of some of our other favorite bands Signal Fire, Of Good Nature, Lovely Budz, and more.

Check them out in the video below

Floralorix Bio

"We are all one with nature.

Floralorix is the beautiful daughter and sons of two Nashville reggae rock bands: Bassist Samantha Joelle and drummer Dan Twiford, the former rhythm section of The LTG, and Matt Daughtry, the voice and guitarist of Paradise Daze. The powerful trio formed when the fate of the universe set the timing to be just right. Their first musical meeting immediately turned to songwriting and creative melodic, dancing reggae music driven by the power of positive thought.

All three members of Floralorix come from different backgrounds and places, but are united by a love of music and a dream to bring people together through their music.

First meeting one another as co-bills at Nashville reggae shows and each having watered and nurtured the soil of the Nashville reggae community, the trio is set to grow tall and with mighty, broad roots, and pretty vocals. These are three people of earth.

Three familiar smiles, one brand new sound."
